Two months ago, I was writing about my arrival in Blagoevgrad, that unknown bulgarian city, where I was going to live during my EVS. Today, Blagoevgrad and Bulgaria have almost no secret for me! Let’s explain you why!
If I would resume my EVS in one word, it would be « Travel ». Indeed, the main fact about an EVS is that you will go in a new country and a new city. Don’t choose ease and go outside your comfort zone: that’s why I have chosen Bulgaria. Here I discovered many places : Blagoevgrad of course, a lovely student city, Bansko and its Koncheto peak, Sofia, the capital, Burgas and Varna with their blue horizon and Veliko Tarnovo, where I became an expert about Bulgarian history! But my favorite town was Plovdiv where history and youthfulness meet each other.

You think that’s all? Well not exactly. I also went in other countries: Greece, in Thessaloniki to take a sunny moment at the Mediteranean’s edge.
Thessaloniki
But also to Skopje in Macedonia. Bulgarian readers, I understood that Macedonia was Bulgarian, don’t worry!
Skopje
Let’s stop here for the photo, it will be too much! Indeed, I also went to Istanbul and Budapest! The main thing is that travelling open your mind to new things. That’s why after going back back to France, I decided to go in Australia to do a seven-months road trip. No time to loose, life is too short!
Even if the travel is the main part of my EVS, sharing is also an important part. Let’s remember that I organised a Wine Tasting (http://bit.ly/2yfLVnw), a Rugby week (http://bit.ly/2xxZXDX) and participated in many meetings like Chat Club where I could meet other people and discover new culture.
So don’t hesitate, for sure EVS is for you! A big thank-you to ABS team, it was my first time in Bulgaria, but not the last one! In june, there are the Francofolies .
